Hey folks, I love my wee W890i, even more than when I bought it as I got a 16GB card stuck in now! It's been crashing randomly though so I thought I'd reflash with SEUS and it ALWAYS fails at 52%. The fone boots and I can use it as normal but it cannot find a network and makes NO interference with my amp in front of me so I know it's not looking for a network :s

Is there ANY way of forcing the firmware on with some other free tool or is it dead for good now?

you can flash your phone by yourself with A2 file access & flasher tool by following this tutorial.

btw, the tutorial needs a pic or two. if you need help, just ask them there.

Cheers Tranced! I'll get right on it. It's not even charging now, I get text on the screen when I plug the charger in that tells me I'm not using a genuine SE battery (which I certainly am) and that it'll not behave

AVG detects A2uploader as a trojan :s

Would anyone here be able to run me through GDFS recovery? I don't even know what that is but I've read around with my old pal Google and others seem to have similar prob's from corrupt GDFS files.
