Hi,
I wonder if it is possible (through modding or something) to turn ON the LED light in Camera mode? Because sometimes in certain situation the Xeon flash is just too strong (ie taking a picture of a document)

Yes, u r right. It is still not catching the modder's attention.
Strong, Bazzuka,ta_power....all of these should try to put efforts to this.
But I've a tip (perhaps u have tried it..).
Try to clean the Light Sensor just below the Xenon flash.
That surely helps to reduce the Xenon brightness while capturing in
'document mode' or 'macro mode'.... cheers

Even if you could i don't think having the LED would help...glossy paper is glossy paper afterall. As people generally say clean the light sensor next to the LED's. Oh and try taking your picture from further away so the light won't be so heavily concentrated. With a decent cam like the k850i just zoom in on the picture with a picture viewer and u'll still have detail to spare even when taking from relatively far away

I hope future camdrivers can solve this problem on K850. Flash pics has been always problem with my K850 even with modded camdrivers.
I hope it will be fixed just like what several compact digital camera does, when you choose macro mode, it will automatically optimize the camera and xenon flash for objects near the camera with perfect color balance and exposure.

Im sure that's not much difficult to put LED into camdriver.

when i'm taking close picture of documents or shiny object i always blocked portion of the flash light so picture come out perfect not overexposed =)
well.. some of the modded camdriver i've tested like JAC4.6 and Strong can take flashed macro pic with a liltle overexposed.
