Yeah. You are definitely using a old firmware. The latest firmware is R8BF003. U can find the files at www.4shared.com and u need these files:
1. flashing software: xs++v3.1 coz its easy to flash from it.
2. MAIN and FS for your phone, must be of same cid.
3. custpack: to finalize the flashing eg. To finalize what languages to use determined by the region. U can get it from xs++ itself.
Happy flashing!

why should i buy new phone?

can i flash it using setools lite version? i dont know why my phone not able to connect via xs++ .

4shared, i got few file below, cos mine is CID49.
1) K800i-CID-RED-49-R1ED001-SETOOL-AR.rar
2) K800i-CID-RED-49-R1CF001-AR-SETOOL.rar
3) K800i-CID-RED-49-R1CB001-AR-SETOOL.rar

so should i go for the 1st one it seems it is a lastest number.

How would I find out if I have CID52 or 53?

Currently I'm running R1JC002 and would like to update it, would following suresh86 steps below be the best way?
