Is your microphone working? When you modded your phone (I guess you also modified and acoustics) are you sure you didn't modified the microphone's drivers?

yeah, i modded the acoustics, then i modded them again with a different sound system, then i re-flashed the previous acoustics back on.
That is when i encountered the problem.
I deleted ALL of the files located in the acoustic folder, and flashed all the origional (origional k850i acoustics) back on, but the microphone and video recorder sound is still coming out as static.

Try to reflash it using SEUS. If that doesn't work, then you microphone it's probably dead and you have to go to a service center.

hmm
i guess thats the only option left.
i didnt really want to use SEUS, but will it remove the flash themes which have been flashed onto the phone?
i dont mind reflashing the Fonts and Sound Systems again.

yes, using SEUS will remove all things that you've added to the filesystem.

cheers for all the help,
but i am concerned about my flash themes..
will SEUS remove my flashed menus from the phone?
it is a looonng process opening .thm files and editting the .xml files too.
