> Should I get Samsung Omnia or Pixon?
Bookmark topic
Hi. My upgrade is due in around 10 weeks from now, and I am having difficulty choosing between these two phones.
I last got a K850i which had to be replaced, and the replacement wary also faulty, and recently bought a sim free T700 just to replace it.
For my next phone, I need a model with good video capture quality as I am going to start placing my Piano performance videos on youtube, so I want to upgrade to a phone with a 640x480 resolution capture at least. I also would like 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, which makes both of these phones ideal, and also a much better internet browser that can have multiple pages open at once and watch youtube videos and use google maps while on the move.
I like the idea of having a pocket PC like device with all these advanced features, so the Omnia seems like it will be a very good choice, but the Pixon has a much better camera and video capture quality.
Also, is there a camera tripod or stand available for these two models? I have one for my K850i and would like a similar one for whichever phone I get next.

Ive decided to go for the LG Renoir instead now as it has everything I could want in a phone, and is cheaper then the Samsungs.
The Omnia only has 15 FPS video capture at 640x480, and the Pixon has no Wifi and looks ugly to me.
The LG Renoir has 8 Mpix camera, 30 FPS VGA video capture, Wifi plus 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, feature wise it seems to be perfect with no weaknesses unlike the Samsung models.
I tried calling T mobile today to talk about it, but they were unavailable due to the bad weather, so will try again tomorow.
I also considered the Nokia 5800, but the LG is much better, and also I liked the N85 but T mobile dont sell it. This time around I highly dislike the

C905.
I'll be getting my first non

phone since the K700. I have had the entire K series range and the K850 completly failed for me - both the camera button and the bluetooth no longer work, and it became problematic after just 6-8 months.
I think I will be more then happy with the LG Renoir, hopefully I wont have to pay too much for it on upgrade.
Well ... After reading reviews, I want the Pixon lol. I think I will have to compare the Pixon and Renoir in the store.
