> How long will the G900 last of usage?
Bookmark topic
I have almost 2 years old k510i, bought brand-new in the store.
I'm considering to buy a brand-new sony ericsson g900 from the store.
I do not use any care case or something like that for my k510i and only problem it have is the dust in joystick, I can live with it anyways. I use my k510 very often, and my keypads is quite worned out, which is normal for all k510 users, and k800's user too, I hear.
I heard that the g900 is sensitive with dust or something like that. I wouldn't pull out my g900 under the hard rain, but I don't know about some snows or a light rain? Is it really necessary to buy the care or something like that for the g900i? I would carry the g900 in my jeans' pocket. Maybe in the purse, I'll decide about it.
The most important point of this, is will it last at least 2 years? Do you like your g900? I think it is a very nice phone.

How long a phone will last depends on you, I guess

Do you take good care of it or no? I have T68i since 2002 (31 May). So it will be soon 7 years old, but works fine and looks almost like a new. The only problem is that some keys needs hard push to react.

not sure it depends on user how he use, how much he use and how he care of that. these decide the life of phone. there is no any specific criteria.

The build quality is quite cheap and nasty. P1i is far far better IMO

All SE phones medium and hi-end will last around 2 years with intense usage.I never let mine out of my hand, constantly talking, emailing and browsing and after 2 years the soft went crazy, so I exchanged for a brand new phone. I guess it's ok for the price>

Thank you very much, 701.
And I do not want the P1i, because I'm a female and I don't want to carry some ugly brick.. no offense, Sony Ericsson.

Well, I have to side with you on that part, the P1 looks out of place (8 out of 10 times) in the hands of a female! It is rather big and masculine for most women.
