http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/downloads/messenger/default.asp

looks awesome and i really prefer official msn messenger programs rather than tipic me for mobile phones or trillian for computers...

when will microsoft develop a symbian version? or will they not do it because they do stuff only for windows based devices (pocket pcs and smartphone os phones)?

(ps: i understand that this pocket pc messenger cannot be installed in p800, can it?)

Well... hell would probably freeze before M$ develops anything for SymbianOS or PalmOS, it's M$ toughest competiters right now in a market that they don't control (and hopefully never will).

Frankly we are better off not having M$ apps anyway...

Well TIPIC uses more bytes than MSN messenger in my PPC. But since it's the only one for Symbian so we'll have to live with it.

And please, do send me the beta version any of you.
You can send it to pabbas@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance

I am trying to use tipicme. After a successful install it doesn't want to run. It keeps returning an error 'check your gprs settings on your phone'. I am using t-mobile in the uk and have had gprs enabled. help please. This error appears regardless of whether i am connecting via gprs, adsl or dial up.
