Hi mates
I have been wondering if it is possible to upgrade mobile software online. At one point in time I thought of downloading the sofware upgrade then install it in my phone. I heard one saying that if you install the wrong software upgrade then your phone would be completely destroyed and that destruction is irrevesable.
Okay in my motorola v360 there is and option of such and upgrade but each time I click on it it say no software ugrade available. I tried to contact
motorola about such an issue but up to now I still havent recieved any reply.
One thing I was wondering again is that do I need to have my phone registere and have some sort of account in ordert to recieve the upgrade on my phone. Im just blank.
Anyone with an idea please contribute

you would have to do it manually i think. upgrading Firmwares Over The Air(FOTA) are able according to your operator. if your phone is branded you likely have to contact your operator.

When you say
branded do you mean like in my situation, my phone is powered by mtn. Is that the kind of branding that you mean?
