Anyone ever bought one of these machines? I know they are for business use but I need a second machine at home for purley editing purposes (graphic design ect.....) and these seem to give a lot of value for money.

We have them at my school and they are fantastic, very quiet and work like a beast. We;ve hardly had any of them breakdown and overall the machines are very fast. I'd say get it!

The 760. Dual Core 3Ghz, 2GB Ram,320GB hard disk....
I only really need something around 2.6ghz and at least 1gb in ram torun the programs I need so figured no need to go quad core. Was thinking about a mac pro but they only do quad core and those are generally overpriced anyway. Anyway without the moniter I got quoted £539 inc VAT which is a great price imo. I already got a 22 inch moniter ready. What you reckon?

Forget Mac, it'll be a powerhorse but soon it'll be outdated and you'll have to upgrade to the latest refresh every so often, which means more money.
The Optiplex 760 never fail to impress. Go for it, doesn't sound a bad deal to me.
