I've searched the entire web (at least it's starting to feel that way) for a free wap host to whome I can upload my ringtones and pictures and download to my phone via wap.
Isn't there a site perhaps that allows you to upload files temporarily and download them via wap?
The point is - I have a lot of stuff on my computer that I have done myself and I want them on my phone.

Slight difference whether I can set something up myself or if there is an established service somewhere I can use.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I can't imagine using a ringtone that doesn't sound like the original. I like metal (death, trash, black, power etc) so a lot of the tones I do, I do because nobody else does them. My recent tones include Deicide, Pantera, Master's Hammer etc. But if you are still interested I can sure mail them to you later on.

If you want to make a site so others can share them aswell as you download the easiest option is to sign up at tagtag.com and make a site with them.
They will not let you upload files unless its .wbmp

However you can just upload you files to some free web space and link to the files using the Add Link option at tagtag.com
You can search for free web space matching your critera here:
http://www.freewebspace.net/search/

You can just upload the files to the free webspace and type in the full address of the file in Enter Address option in the Wap menu.
e.g http://members.aol.com/catty2phatty/bytheway.mid

This will connect, download the file then disconnect.
