Right, I have a T68i and am thinking of getting a Bluetooth USB adapter.
I have read that it will connect your PC to the internet through your mobile, which would be handy for me at Uni where there are no Phone lines in the rooms.
All I want to know is, do I need GPRS for this? Will I be charged my networks rate for connection, how does it work?
Is it possible to dial a free ISP through the Wireless?
Thanks.

Your T68 will behave like an ordinary modem, so you don't need GPRS for this. Use the free ISP for dial-up.

sorry laffen but 9600bytes per second is rubbish
gprs is much faster up to 5 times faster so if you want to browse at a decent speed then yes gprs is needed or hscsd if you have it

Also, if your university or college has implemented a decent level of security them you probably wont be able to install the drivers on their networked machines. If this is your own personal pc in your dorm room then obviously this wont apply.

cheers for your help peeps and yes my pc is in my room.
Responding to laffen, does this mean i wont have to pay any charges when i dial my existing free ISP (Onetel) through my mobile, even though normal tariffs for my network are 10p per minute on WAP and normally u cant dial free phone numbers from a mobile in UK?
