Hi all,

im looking at getting the c905 with VODA, just rang 3 to cancel my contract and they offered me something better as a retention\deal, but im concerned about the firmware fiasco with them and the k850.

Could anybody tell me if voda and 3 are using the same firmware? (and which firmware?) Are all the UK networks being OK about releasing new firmware or is it slow?

Buy the phone and get it unbranded to the real sony ericsson software, it works alot better has all the features back on that the networks take off and also you will get the new firmware as soon as S.E release it, i believe the networks are still 2 firmwares behind the generic ones!

Unbranding can be done for free, and there are guides on here about how to do it.

it voids your warranty with the NETWORK debranding it keeps it with the manufacturer, so sony ericsson, so no problems
