> T68 shuts down!!!
Bookmark topic
Hi to all!
I have noticed that my T68 shuts down by itself. Now its the 3d time that happened and I din't know how this occured. When the battery is charged to its full, the phone works fine. When the battery life is aproximatelly at the half (last green stage) the phone shuts down in stand by mode, without touching it. I switch it on and then works fine until the battery is fully exausted. My software version is R2A013.
Anyone has any idea regarding this?

hmmm i have never experienced any shutdowns, but sometimes my phone freezes and it will not even turn off, so i have to remove the battery, my software is R2A. But a starnge thing happened to me when i first bought my phone, i get a "no access" error, i had to change my sim to a newer version, then this problem disappeared, so it could be from the sim!

That's really strange I was going to post the same message.
Mine has only just started doing it. Over the last 2 or 3 days.
I'm going to take mine back today. I have only had my phone for 2 months or so.
I'll let you know what happens

Just to let you know folks that I also experienced this problem of the phone shutting down when idle. But look, I've been connected to GPRS for about six hours now, straight with some calls and SMS in between. I'm on R2B now.
When I first got my phone, I get the "invalid sim", "no network" messages, but in a month it sort of "stabilized" then I upgraded to R1C. I did not change my SIM.

Hello,
A message just to say that I have the same problem.
It seems that apprear when I configure my t68 to check my emails all the 30mins.
So I think it's a problem with the GPRS.
I hope they will find a fix to that !!!

I don't configure it to check for e-mail every 30 minutes or so. I don't know if this fact is resposnible but I don't use it at all. So I suppose its luck!

Ok, that is at least a fact. I mean, if the alredy diagnose that this is a problem, then they should probablly replace mine at once. Forgot to say, that my T68 when shuts down, then is switched on by itself and asks for pin. Do you also epxerienece the same?
