Hey guys.
I've just got the C902 after using the amazing K610i for 3 years now. However, I am very disappointed by the responsiveness on the C902. When entering the menu it is slow, and those dimming animations that even appear when you are writing sms and a word is suggested annoy the hell out of me.
So, how can I change this? Are there any themes or mods that make the animations go away and make my phone snappier?
And, why the HELL doesn't anything show on the standby screen?? It's just black, on my K610i it showed what time it was and if had any new sms or missed calls. Can I get this back?
Also, is there a flash light mod anywhere?
Hope to hear from you
Info on my firmware:
C902 Nordic CDF1201-0071
R3DA028
EROM: 1200-4341

Hi, there is no flashlight mode. One solution is to open the camera cover, put it in video mode and then put the light on. If you use these settings the light starts every time you open the camera cover.

Ok, yeah I found that out, thanks.
But what about the rest of the questions? These really bother me.

To turn off the word suggestions when writing sms, go to More > Writing options > Word Suggestions (this is what it is on my K800, don't know about yours).
For the sluggish performance, try a master reset, if that don't work you could think about updating your firmware to R3DA032 which might help.
As for the sleepmode clock, well loads of peeps have been complaining about that and I don't think there is a solution.

have disabled it on newer phones to save battery!!

It's to save battery power but you can press any one of the two volume/zoom buttons and you will see the time and if you have any missed calls/text

Where can I find a nordic version of R3DA032 (and is this one much better?), and how do I do a master reset?

I just upgraded from a C902 and mine wasn't slow at all. Is your phone branded dude? If you've just got the phone I doubt a master reset will do much to it.
You must either have a branded phone or old firmware, that's all I can think of.

It appears you have the latest firmware then. Very strange why it's slow.
