Hi All.
I am trying to transfer an MP3-file (ringtone) to my girlfriends Sony Ericsson T280i via bluetooth. The phone and my computer connects perfectly but in the Bluetoothmenu on my computer the mobile's status is 'Not Connected' even though it, in fact, is set as online/connected.
So my question is: Do you need to install some kind of transfer-software or am I doing anything wrong?

Have you loaded the CD-ROM that came with the T280 onto your computer? I would recommend this as it contains all the drivers necessary to manage the BT connection. You'll need to load PC Suite which contains the BT, USB and Modem drivers but you won't actually have to use PC Suite to sync the phone if you don't want to.

I am using mac and I don't have the CD. If I could only find the software on the internet, but it doesn't seem to exist...

Aha! Mac v SE issues are not something I can help with but there is a thread on it here and if you can't find what you're looking for, try sending a PM to one of the active members in that thread. I do believe you should be able to get it easily sorted though.
