Hello. I'm making a reguest for a new driver for K850.
My requipments are:
- improve video recording to 640*480 rezolution (@ 24 FPS will be great, although 15 FPS it's still good)
- forced flash only to Red-eye-reduction (with the same flash procedure like Jupita's driver) function
- better colours
- better qualitty (like one guy said
here):
make the picture more clean when we try to close up the picture? what i mean is, the picture we taken now we can see the border for any picture, the pixels not clean or we call burst. For example we take A alphabet picture then when we close up we can the the A border is break ( my meaning the pixels).....if we can make it clean, i think the K850i can beat the digital camera.....hoping so can make it! Anyway thanx again for the good driver....
- less color aberation in the pictures
- better flash procedure (if you make a picture in a house with flash, only the subject's face it's good, the background it's awful, full of noise and color aberation).
Nokia N82 it's taking far far better pictures than K850. Why can't K850 do the same? It's the lenses fault? It's the "Carl Zeiss" name what really matters? I really like the N82's picture qualitty but the phone overall it's too ugly and big for me. K850i it's just beautiful.
PS: Sorry for my bad and poor english.

With modded camdriver, my K850i takes better pics than N82 in daylight.
VGA video recording and good macro+flash pics are the only plus of N82 against K850i regarding camera

With what driver? 6.0?
Try to open a picture taken by K850 in Paint, then open a picture what you made with N82 to see the diferences. Also, the colours are much better and realistic in N82.
Then let's compare night picture... K850 doesn't even compare with N82.

My night pics with my K850i are very far ahead of N82
N82's night pics are often noisy while my night pics with K850i are almost perfect as long as there is a stable enough place to mount the K850i because of the 2sec. long exposure time.

I'm currently using "Cybershot v6.0 (edited by pohuman v4)" then i edited some values in there

I'm using the same camdriver but the image quality isn't that good like N82's. Can you post your modified camdriver? Thanks.

N82 uses a noise reduction... the picture that u see isnt the real, in k850 the picture is like its captured by the lens (sensors)
the capacity of k850 camera is good, its just need hit de config
sorry by the poor english

As I said, I'm using Cybershot v6.0 edited by pohuman v4.
Just search for it here in Esato.
I only edited the auto mode shutterspeed and flash shutterspeed. You can edit it by yourself

K850 also uses noise reduction, almost all phones does.

Ok, but what happens if you post it (or upload it in a filehosting website) on eSato?

@nnr3
Yeah, as timewritter said, you can post your drive here. Also, it would be nice if you can post some pics taken with that drive. We are waiting for your drive.
Thank you
