I have plugged the phone into SEUS and A2 uploader and cannot get any reaction from these, is there anything i can do other than send it for repair?

Its my good friends, he left it on when he when to sleep then in the mornin in wouldn't turn on or react to anythin. Were unsure about warranty because he doesn't have a receipt and it'll cost to send to the repair centre
