Ok guys, basically, i have connected my C905 to my Netgear router, also my wireless network to my netgear router, which connection wise, works wounders, no problems what so ever through connectivty on tranfering files between one another & sharing the internet resource thats all A OK!!
My problem is the speed the files that the files i am sending to my C905 direct to (memory card on the phone) is take so long. I transferred a 200 meg folder (music album) from my laptop over to my phone at the top speed of 196KB/S
My router is either a 54MBPS which is a netgear DG834GT model. which the wireless settings on my router are set to Channel 06 and the mode is B & G. I also have WEP Security enabled which both devices Laptop & C905 has been configured correctly up to my knowledge anyway.
I understand there can be many reasons for slow transfer ratess such as, channel selection intererence, WEP Security enabled, placement of wireless router.
the only negative factor with my setup is my wireless router (unavoidably) is located downstairs under the staircase connected via ethernet wire to my dads PC. whether this is the issue i dont know, (i dont think it is due to 1 fact) That i have All 3 devices PS3 + Laptop + phone upstairs in mybedroom, and the PS3 works Fantastic playing online, which surely requires more than 200 KB/S to play lag free right? We dont have a fast internet connection and i was downlaoding on my laptop from the internet on my laptop at 214KBS which is more than the (internel wireless network speed) which i thought was totally wrong, my network should be faster than connecting to outsiders right????

Possible solutions i will try:
1) Disable the wireless key (already done so , made no difference in speed) so i have re-enabled this.
I am now about to try
2) change the channel the router uses
3) Change the router wireless mode to 108MBPS

Anyways i am going to problem solve this issue, if anybody has any hints or tips for my please be my guest to post any useful information i should know about.
thanks in advance

Ok , after a little experimenting, i changed the mode to 108MBPS, which disaabled my channel option for some reason i;m not sure (if anybody can tell me why ???????) this had made no difference anyway in speed transfering the same folder from my laptop to the Mobile Phone C905 the same directory (memory card) folder.
But what i did notice is, transfering the files to the Phone memory instead of the speed went from the original 196 KB/S to 500 KB/S But still i was hoping for more of at least 1 MBPS? or am i thinking stupid?
thanks everybody

Yes it is quite slow, but then again I get around 1mbps because it only has to go through 1 wall. Different devices have different speeds and different wall penetrating capibility.
