Well I've been looking for a 360 for a while and my mate's given me a pretty decent price for his that he doesn't want any more, but he says that he's registered it with Microsoft already, meaning that I'm going to have to re-register it with them to get the 3 year extended RROD warranty signed up to my house/name. Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks.

Not sure if you can or not, but why not leave it as it is, and if it goed t*ts up, get them to collect from his house.

Why bother? Surely if it's registered in his name at his house, if it goes faulty just get him to sort it out for you?

Yeah I suppose I could do, now I think about it I'll be likely to be flashing it anyway - really haven't thought this thread out...

Flash it and put the xclamp fix on at the same time

Hoping it'll come with a Liteon drive as it's not a brand new console...
Still don't understand 100% what I need though, why is it that modding SE's is so much easier
