Hi,

I just updated my C905 to the new software, R1DA032, and now my "Click" message alert tone no longer works. The keypad flashes, like with the other message tones, but the "click" sound does not appear. This is a shame, as I've always used the "click" tone for SMS messages on my S/E's.

I tried to restart and all that, but to no avail. I see that it's possible to add your own SMS tone, so if anybody knows where I can download the "click" tone, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

THANK YOU!! You're the best

I google and googled, but it's pretty hard to google for something called "click", I went through alot of "click on bla bla"-guides

Hmm this is weird - your "message click" doesn't work either. I can play it just fine on my computer, but once it's on the C905, nothing! I try to open it through the file explorer (or whatever it's called in english ) , I click the softbutton labelled "Play", the "Play" text turns into "Stop" for less than second, but no sound is coming out.

Could it be a firmware bug, it simply cannot play sounds that are too short? So to speak.

Edit: If I take the phone up close to my ear while I try to play the "click", I can hear some interference for a few seconds. Same thing with the standard "Click" sound.

I'll try if I can convert the 3gp file to mp3 or something, maybe that helps.

EDIT: Problem solved - converting the 3gp file to mp3 makes it work on the phone I don't know if I was the only one with this issue, but I uploaded the mp3 file here (zipped), if anybody else would like it: http://peecee.dk/upload/view/158531
- I hope that's okay with you, Boysie99?

I hope you can use the 3gp or mp3 file then

It's weird why it's happening though...

Yeah, the new solution works, but for some reason it's not very loud.

Sony Ericsson Denmark has now confirmed to me that they have experienced the same, so it's probably a bug in the new software, at least for some.
