I am moving onto a 3 (three) tarriff, and I can use Windows Live Messenger and Skype. Does my phone have to be 3 branded to use these features?

Planet 3 is a shortcut, all the settings are in the 3UK custpack you don't need the firmware, i got a customize.xml i made for my W760 with 3UK settings i'll upload it for you but your need to edit the model and cda stuff.

Here , it's for the W760 so edit the customize.xml in notepad and change the model/ cda settings and remove the java files which are for the gps.
