Hi. My friend just gave me his broken w580i.
The problem is the LCD does not show a picture. The backlight works, but the only thing on the screen is a vertical red line toward the right side. I've tried taking it apart completely, cleaning, and reassembling but the problem is the same.
Before I buy a new LCD, I want to make sure that replacing the LCD will actually fix the problem. Anyone familiar with this exact issue? I believe this happened after the phone was dropped. Everything thing else works fine, just blindly.
