my K850 was working fine ...... i went to my university ...... was working fine but when i just randomly pulled it out to message my friend i found out that my phone was off !
i pulled out the battery, put it back again ! turned the phone on .......... but all it did was flash the lights of the keypad and the camera light on the back !
no screens at all !
i left it alone !!!
after 30 mins or so i tried again and the phone turned on ..... but was slow !
i did a master reset ........ but after that it would keep getting held on the sony erricsson logo !
after some time ........ the same keypad light an camera light thing started again !
i came home ........ flashed the phone with A2 Uploader ....... it flashes ok but keeps doing the same thing !!!!
what to do ?? please help !!!

Try to flash it with SEUS.

There is also an Option "Continue Anyway" on SEUS even if your phone has the latest software, you can reflash it with SEUS.

or its not showing it in my case .......weird !!
SE has seriously disappointed me with k850 !

one more thing i have noticed is that ......... no matter what version i flash the phone with ......it flashes ok but ...........
the next time identify it .......... it shows this firmware R1FA035 !!
even though the last time i flashed it with R1CA037 !!!!
what the hell is this ???
please ppl help !!!!!

Had the same problem once...but got rid of it!
upload "customize_upgrade.xml" file to the phone "tpa/preset/custom" using A2Uploader, switch on your phone to activate the changes, when you run your phone through SEUS it will detect the CDA doesn't match and ask if you want to reinstall the software again, then click "Continue anyway" and SEUS will continue to install the new firmware
i have the file..but dont know how to attach here :S

sorry didnt figure out a way to upload the file but u can search for "customize_upgrade.xml" for K850i...just change the CDA to 1201-0077.
worked for me...hope it does for u aswell..goodluck!
