Any one noticed that there is an image editor embeded into the MMS application on the P800!!!! I wonder why isnt this editor linked a way or another to the list of apps on the application tab!!!!!
Note: the editor on the mms drasticly reduce the image file size thus brings u a much smaller MMS size, I used an image that was about 36K and did a dummy modification to it (i.e. rotate it 4 times till it is back to normal position), to my surprise it droped its size to only 2.5K.
Thought this would be a helpfull hint.

Didn't know about the image editor. But found out that if you modify (rotate) the image in some way, the P800 will reduce the dimentions to 160x120. I think this is the recommended maximum MMS image size.

Doesn't the P800 automatically reduce ALL images to 160x120? Since this is the MAXIMUM size allowed by the MMS specification sheet. The T68i used to do this... without altering the original photo. All photos sent via MMS from the T68i were automatically reduced to 160x120. I thought this was the case with our P800 as well...

hmmm... I'll try it some time and see.

There is a setting for MMS in Control panel. If you use standart compliant then the picture will be reduced till 160x120. I f not then original.
