Okay so I got a weird email today, and when you read it you'll know why I decided to post it here.
Anyone else got anything like this?

I had someone skype me the other day saying something very similar. When I queryied it with the IS department, they advised me against it.

Nah, if you want, just set esato to not show your email, then only laffen can see it

It is almost for certain a human sending this email to you. Collecting Esato member email addresses is not very easy to do.
The Esato registration process now requires verification of a
Captcha image
The registration email address must be valid because:
New members must click on a link in the welcome email to be activated and therefore able to post
Only signed in members will have access to the
member list page
Members must activate the "Allow other users to view my Email Address" to have their email address listed on the member page or profile page
The email address is not listed as plain text. It is printed out by a javascript function, making it impossible for robots to collect.
