Hey I would appreciate if anybody could tell me which processor is used in which phone...
I know its an ARM processor, but would like to know which model (and other specifications) of that processor in which phone...
I googled my query and could just find that W and K series use ARM926EJ-S...
with a speed of 220 MIPS @ 200 MHz... (source:-wikipedia)
I dont have much knowledge about the processors and its parts but just want to know more about them...
Links to detailed explanations will be appreciated...

Regards

world best webiste for Benchmark, performance details and other tech spec for your cellphones.....
just browse your model into the list and Voila, everything comes up...very nice
http://www.jbenchmark.com/latest_results.jsp?benchmark=pro

example;
|| c902 ARM9 is clocked at 169 mHz || c905 at 149 mHz || w200 at 110 mHz ||
((Java benchmark 1.0= c902: 7573.......c905: 6638......W200: 5126))

Why C905 has worse CPU that C902?

Those results are useless, and cannot be deemed truthful. The results are based on a variety of factors, including running applications, background processes, the phone's JP version, how many CPU cycles that are available for the application, how much memory is left on the phone, how many messages and contacts are stored on the device, and so on.

You should think of the results as a minimum clock frequency rather than anything else.

Just noticed the site says "JBenchmark ACE - (ARM CPU Estimator) estimates mobile CPU class and clock rate in MHz". That just goes to prove my point.

well, you asked for facts about cellphone CPUs, (type, clock rate, etc), and you got them.

this website is quite fun, they have nearly ALL brands ~ models of all cellphones.....

Problem is, the more features on the phone, the less use of the phones processor gets used by java, thus the estimator gives high values on low end phones and low values on high end phones. Part of the reason c905 scored less than c902 (cause of the added wifi+gps) and k610 has a much higher score than both

well, i still think its weird that SE stake on a slower CPU in c905 then c902.

c902 CPU is clocked at 169 Mhz. thats 20 Mhz faster then c905. (which make some different especially IF we talking about multi tasking, etc).

ps. both phones have same Internal memory (160 MB)
