I recently got a C510 for my dad, but I am using it temporarily right now until my phone is fixed.

I did not know how great this phone is and just got it because it was a cheap phone and my dad doesn't do anything beyond making calls and ending them.

A reason I got an SE is because my mom is looking into getting a new phone and she is very tempted into getting an SE because of what she saw with me (the P series for the last 7 years)

So she was using the C510 just to see if she could navigate it easily and she fell in love with it and wants a C510 now.

I don't want to get her a C510 because I know she is a heavy user and uses a lot of features in phones such as SMS, MMS, Video calling, organizer, web, pictures, GPS, etc

She also travels a lot and needs a good battery. So my mom is REALLY LOVING the C510 but I thought a higher end phone would be better for her but since I mainly know about the P series...I don't know what to look for.

Is the G705 good? Is it out and how much? From what I read the G705 seems like a better version of the C510. As long as price is within the $400ish range that is fine as well.

So suggestions guys? Sorry for long explanation

I think you're right with explanation, so buying new high-end is cost your money a lot and things need to be clear for easier choosing.

With durability battery SMS MMS GPS and also get high-speed 3G connection 7.2 HSDPA, G705 is reasonable investment but cam only 3.2 mpx and body build with mostly plastic I hope that wont' be problem.

check it out try 'em play with 'em then making decision.

If W715 for Vodafone availble in for region check it out too same with G705 but front body build with 70% aluminum and Walkman player/controller and better size memcard.

W705 is not include GPS pass it.

By the sounds of things, you should just stick with the c510. If you want, try the g705, but I think that the c510 will work out better for what you (r mum) need.

The W715 look like a good bet (although lacking in autofocus).

The C702 can also be considered, as it has GPS. Not many SE phones have GPS build in, depending on your price range the choices are limited. I would steer away from the C905 due to build & hardware problems. Then there's the W760 and G705 are left with build-in GPS and a decent price tag, and then there's is the Xperia with a hefty price tag. There is also the TM506 made for t-mobile, but i haven't seen that one on sale anywhere in UK.

G705 is great. I have one and highly recommend it. Although it is mostly plastic, it is hardened and finished very nicely. I enjoy it and have had several people admire and want one. I have the black version (not gold).
