It is actually a problem with your phone when you first get it, the networks change the phone settings not allowing large downloads in their gprs. This is only a problem with ericsson t68, t68i and t300 phones.

You need access to www.sonyericsson.com for the fix.

Reset your phone partially so only some data is removed and you clock and date will be reset. You will then have to delete all data accounts (in connect) then send them using the Wap Configurator on www.sonyericsson.com. Answer the questions and send out Orange PayG Gprs and Orange Wap to your phone. Then once recieved use the mms configurator and answer the questions then the mms settings will be sent to your phone.

You should be able to download games and everything now! At least you lot have the answer now, No one across the net knew it nor did orange. After spending around a fiver on nothing I finally succeeded. Happy Wapping my good friends.

(The above is for the orange network, if you are on a different network and are having troubles just replace the answers to the questions on the ericsson wap configurator to your country and network)

The most i've done at one time is 61kb. That was a game. How do you get free wap snowman?

Ello 24hrs mate, yeah still enjoying free gprs, but it stops soon tho sob sob. Been good tho eh m8 :-D to X: Ive got an old pre pay genie card which gives me free wap via gsm and o2 have got free gprs till the end of jan. :-D This message was posted from a T68i

If you are still having trouble downloading anything over 3k with Orange try this:

Goto Wap > Options > Wap Profiles > [Select Profile] > Edit
Then change the Data Mode to 'Conn oriented'

Should work for both dialup and gprs.
