I just, like 10 min ago, got my Sony ericsson k850i and it restarted within the first 5 min. I already know this is caused by the faulty vodafone live firmware.

It is a vodaphone live edition. I have flashed a Sony Ericsson w800i before and loaded accoustics and vkp patches so that is the knoweledge I have.

As far as I know I have to debrand it,right. Or should I just let Vodacare update it?

If I should debrand it, how do I do that???

Thank you very much. My phone is totally going crazy now, can you please help me get all the files together I need to flash my phone? Like the Main and FS and Custpack. I would be very grateful!

I found some files on 4 shared, are they right:

Also, what is EROM and do I need it?

Ok but I just read a tutorial on how to debrand your phone with a2 uploader and Seus. So won't it be eisier to just generate a custom.xml with a2 cda generator and then upload it to the phone using A2 uploder.

And then connect it to seus so that it updates the firmware to unbranded edition.
