Long time reader, first time writer.

I've used my k850i as a notebook for a long time, and the idiot I am, I havn't backed it up. And now I got the BROD.
They way I've used it, is I would create a text message with my note, and just not send it, so it would store the message with my note. Can I retrieve these in any way? They are VERY valuable to me. I've tried to only flash a new main via a2uploader, but without luck. I've been googling it for hours. If there is a paysite that will do the trick, I am villing to pay.

I figure it would work the same way as with any a2 based phone!!
The information is still in there, I just need to find a way into it. Like with a broken harddrive.

Sorry, it's virtually impossible if the phone won't turn on, try charging the phone, it's suprising how many BROD's come from a dead battery1

I, unfortunately, already tried that. Is there any chance of trying my luck with a lot of different mains, without installing new filesystems? And if so, is there a system to go by, or is it just trial and error?

1) I finally found my way through the polish link, and downloaded the boot files. Does anyone know where I'm supposed to upload it? Whe I press the FileSystem Tool on a2uploader I get the
"PHONE STATE: "RETAIL"
FLASH CID: 0052
OTP LOCKED:1 CID:52 PAF:1 IMEI:3xxxxxxxxxxxxx CERT:RED
LDR:2008-07-23 12:03 CXC1250843_DB31XX_CS_LOADER_ACC_SDRAM_R2A065
LDR CAPS:SYSTEM FLASH SIGNATURE AUTH
LDR:2008-07-23 12:03 CXC1250780_DB31XX_CS_LOADER_APP_SDRAM_R2A065
LDR CAPS:SYSTEM FLASH GDFS FILESYSTEM TA
LDR:2008-05-23 12:10 CXC1250779_DB31XX_EXPLORER_LOADER_APP_SDRAM_R2A059
LDR CAPS:SYSTEM FLASH GDFS FILESYSTEM TA
can't get NET header"
-message.

2) "unless the EROM is corrupt you will have to reflash your phone"
How do I check this? It was pretty easy on my k800, but I don't have any blinking red lights here.

3) is there a chance someone will write a script someday, so I can get to the files, or backup the filesystem and read them through that? 'Cause then I will just use my backup phone till then, in the hopes that someone will.

4) Does the main, and the filesystem have to be from the same what-ever this-number-"R1EA031"-fefers-to?

I'm beginning to feel like my ex, leaving more messages than I get replys:)

@Flem3000
Are you able to access file system via A2uploader?

If yes then there is a way to restore all of your messages after reflash.

EDIT If you can't access file system then try PhoneExplorer and let me know.

Note PhoneExplorer is a FTP (file transfer protocol) system that lets you access to your phone' internal file system. It is not MyPhoneExplorer.
