> C902 : Can't read 1GB M2 Card
Bookmark topic
I bought a C902 yesterday and decided to use the 1GB M2 I had on my
K550i@W610i .
The M2 worked flawlessly with the K550i, but It doesn't work with the C902. I tried re-seating the card several times with no luck
. It works sometimes, but only for the first time accessing the card (* In mass storage mode I could use the M2 to copy paste the files*) I decided to format the M2, since I'm new to the C902 I couldn't find where to Format the M2 . LOL
So I formatted it (Mass Storage mode) using Vista64. Allocation size was 16Kb (I think). Now the phone doesnt even detect the M2, it detected it before formatting, but said no files in M2.
So What I have to do, What is messed up ? I'm really pissed off since this happened on the first day I bought my phone.
Please Help me out

OK! I took the phone to where I bought it and checked the phone with another M2 card and it works flawlessly.. it was a 128MB one though. Both mem cards were "Sony" branded. But the shop owner keeps telling that the card I had was a fake one, and if I keep trying using it it may damage the phone even..
Is it true that newer Sony Ericsson phones are allergic to non-Original memory cards ? Phones refuse to work with them ??
