I recieved a call from Business Telecom, promising the world to me, if I switched to Orange. Before too long I got a call from another rep telling me they would send a phone to me and if I was happy with the deal, when I got the phone I would sign over to Orange. At this point I was not aware that I had to return the phone within 7 days.
The Phone arrived and eventually I opened it, only to find out that the phone was not what I had asked for and the contract was not So good. Because I had failed to getthe phone back to Business Telecom within 7 days of it arriving I was now under Orange contract.
I have returned the phone to Business Telecom and they won't let me out of the contract.
So I have a contract with orange for £45 per month, for 18 months that I can't get out of........................................!!!!!!
Can anyone help me?

Speak to Orange directly and explain it to them. Mis-selling happens a lot and they should understand. A similar thing happened to me and they just cancelled the new contract.

I doubt this is legally binding. Just return everything by recorded mail with a letter explaining what happened. They need to notify you that you were about to enter a contract which they clearly didn't. Maybe get some free legal advice too. You did not sign any contract did you? If not, than you have nothing with them, just return everything. And get some free legal advice before you do so. It will be time well spend.

Never ever accept or buy offers that people call and offer you from any company except the network provider themselves.

It is always best to only get your tariff directly from Orange / T mob / O2 etc.

Random people and companies calling to advertise and sell you things should never be trusted.
