Hi all,

just wondered if anyone could help me out?

To cut a long story short the company I work for has previously had some some corporate artwork drawn in house using coral draw. Unfortunately the person who origionally drew these on his laptop has since left & moved abroad.
Having recently moved office we are now wanting to change address, update telephone numbers/email addresses etc on these signs but cannot open the origional files as no-one has coral draw!!!

Is there any other way of being able to open these files either through photoshop?, illustrator? publisher? etc or has anyone else got ideas that might help. We use windows xp by the way but i do have my Mac at home if that helps.
The previous employee was good enough to save the files as jpegs so we can open them up & view them but editing them is so far out of the question.
I've toyed with the idea of importing them into photoshop but some of the artwork is quite complex so altering the text & layouts etc would be very time consuming.

Any ideas or help would be gratefully appreciated

Cheers

Download the free trial version of CorelDRAW and export the artwork to a format that photoshop can understand properly?

Cycovision you absolute LEGEND!

Took about 30mins to download the installer file & I thought I'd go through & open all the corel files to see if it worked before reporting back......

.......worked an absolute treat, now going to spend my lunch exporting the files into formats we can read & alter etc.

I'm now looking like a bit of an I.T./problem solving genius!

Many, many thanks!!

My pleasure, glad it worked

Too late now, but I think Paint Shop Pro can open CorelDraw files too. That would probably have been a much smaller download!
