> Key partially stuck down (C905)
Bookmark topic
I got a new C905 and within 4 days the hash key seems to be stuck down some way...
With all the other keys, you can push the key down easily and actually feel it going down, whereas with my hash key you have to press much more firmly for it to be recognised, as the key itself doesnt seem to be as close to the surface of the keypad.
What shall I do about this?
I dont think I have a warranty as I bought my phone (new) off eBay. And DIY fixes or can i send it off for money or what?
Also...
Do some phones have better signal than others? My C905 keeps having problems with texts not coming through, I didnt have these problems with my K800i..

About the texts, it could be your operator branded software.

Same as my number 6 keypad, the key doesn't go down when being pressed, there's no 'click' feeling.

i think with ebay reciept you can prove the phones yours then they know how old it is because it says on the back so you should have warranty.
Just to be sure contact the seller and see if he can give u something?

@ gtr83 comment he means the branded software on your phone may be preventing messages from coming through.
and i bought my phone off ebay and they've fixed it twice. but the seller did give me proof he bought it.
im sure the paypal payment for the c905 would be enough for them just phone and ask

you can get ur phone debranded. Im guessing your not very technical minded when it comes to putting software onto phones no offence so i'd get it done professionally. You can use
www.davinciteam.com
it will cost you 10 euros to get the phone debranded but you dont need to know anything to do it, just plug ur phone in and away it goes.

Actually, I've already rebranded it once with davinci, but you're right I dont really understand. Maybe I flashed the wrong software onto it or something?
I did it so that I could get the new version with the conversation style SMS and the smile shutter etc.
My software info says:
RIDA032prg1205-9079_GENERIC_SI R1DA032
I wasnt sure which to pick in davinci.. could I have picked one that messed up my texts?
