My SE K800i, seems to be frozen once i turn it on. It will boot up, i choose "Phone Mode" and the signal and Carrier name appear. But after that the phone Freezes...I cannot do anything, nothing works... Has anyone seen this before??? what is the best thing to do???

If i start it under "Flight Mode" then the phone will operate normally.

Any suggestions...

I think your phone needs a reflash
Go to Google and type the keywords "SEUS" it means Sony Ericsson Update Service, run the app, and update your phone. Also, if the software claims you have the latest update, click continue anyway
YOU WILL LOSE ALL TEXT'S ON THE PHONE AND FILES ON THE PHONE MEMORY NOT MEMORY CARD

I tried the update it didnt work. It gives me the message "Update not available". Once the phone starts up, it will freeze while it is "searching" for the carrier, while the signal is full bars.

Not too sure what to do now...

So it worked with the m2 out? Well, the firmware is a bit old. You better get a newer version.

IF you have access to a service center, you could have updated it here.
