I thought that ATT didn't support GSM E-mail on it's phones. I have a T68i and there is a tutorial on ATTWS website that shows how to set it up. If they don't support it and it doesn't work (I can't get it to work at all), then why do they have a tutorial on how to set it up?

You can find the Tutorial at http://www.attws.com/mmode/ and click on "Online Tutorials" under the Mmode Links.

ATTWS does support sending emails from the GSM (voice) side. The tutorial on the ATTWS website shows you how to set up sending emails without logging on to Mmode to send them (this comes in handy when you are trying to send pictures). When the phone connects to send the email, it connects to the GPRS (data) side of the phone. Some Nokia phones do have the capability of sending SMS as an email using the email gateway number (0000000000), but I dont believe that the Ericsson has that capability

Hi sbstrd, Be sure that Ericsson Phone has this capability of sending Email using an Email gateway. Check with T68 or other phones like R520 please. In the message option menu, you can find Email gateway setting for SMS.
If you want to send Email with ATTWS' GSM data(CSD) or GPRS service, you need to setup your email account and data service both. Make sure your subscription has got at least one of the two services from ATTWS already.
