As rather an old phone, is there a way of unlocking this for free please? Giving it to my son but it is locked to Orange and he is on O2.

Yes we can patch unlock it,
Please download this .rar file and extract first, its around 60mb so be patient!
Flashing_Software.rar
Now, extract the downloaded .rar to your desktop for easy finding
