Ok U lot you's keep on going about when you delete your pictures it doesnt free up space. I cant even delete them. Orange put a stupid lock on the pictures B4 i got it. I got my phone Unlocked from orange to see if that would work but it didn't. They have also have locked the original Theams and Sounds.
There has to be a way of getting the Pics unlocked.
There must be a way Please! I need more space for my pictures after all the section is called MY Pictures!

No one can delete preinstalled objects on the newest t300 firmware.
Or so I've heard...
Don't think it's got anything to do with orange...

ad2k, i bet ur firmware is R1D. Only R1D firmware does not allow us to delete predefined pics/themes/ sounds/mms templates
get an upgrade to R1F, which then when u reset ur phone, only the predefined pics are left and free memory makes up to around 800kb

I've got R1B008 (one of the first versions I think) and I can 'delete' the preinstalled things. Many say that it's pointless because you only hide them but if I do a master reset and delete the pictures through messages > multimedia > memory status > my pictures they atleast don't load into the 'free' memory (they just show as white blocks).
Doing this I have about 600k free after a MR. It's no use deleting the ringtones though as they don't 'unpack' like the pictures.

Personally I don't like any of the preinstalled items and would really like a 'lite' version without bundles available at SE service points...
I think we (the customers) should have the right to decide what content we want on our phones, it's just to much Microsoft mentality
