> Sony Ericsson W705 Unboxing Review
Bookmark topic
This time we graded the Music series of Sony Ericsson--W705 on hand which is the representative of great and latest realm of Sony Ericsson Walkmans. It was rated “best audio experience” with its superior sound quality that same as the blissful acoustics creation, W980, by Sony Ericsson last year. However, with many upgraded functions. Sound incomparable! Let’s just take a look if that truly fits the rumor.
It comes with a battery, charger, a handsfree, a data cable a CD-ROM and a user guide.
W705 is in premium design which is more than a music phone. Metal finished, slim, screen in medium size and with a compact slider which is available in Passionate red and silver .Wow! Looks cool~
The keys below the screen have a well-known design and positioning without any surprises here, just like the one on W595 or G705. But, look at the one in silver, it is shiny that going to blind your eyes!
Well~ the same goes for the ultra flat alpha-numeric keypad. However, the small keys bunch together which make you a bit easy to mistype during texting. Despite the size, it usability is still on a nice level with great press feedback.
The 3.2 megapixel camera lens is at the back of the phone next to LED flash. There is no self-portrait mirror.
M2 card again. But this time you don’t need to remove the back cover to insert the card! SonyEricsson, saw your improvement!
You won’t be surprised by the Sony Ericsson user interface .Simple, neat and fun. Newcomers should have no problems at all.
The phone has an accelerometer. Auto rotates between vertical and horizontal mode is only a piece of cake to W705!
We have tested the sound quality of the phone, with clear stereo and bass, they work excellent. As a music phone, W705 have done a good job! It is offering the most feature-rich mobile music experience to us today but the only thing is, it currently lacks is an office document viewer. Well, it is not a big deal as you can do it on your computer with big screen.

Simply gorgeous!
A document viewer would be nice but then I guess it's a phone for play not work. Prefer the red but like the silver too.

Uhm, yes you do. At least on my W715, which is the same thing...

I played with one of these in O2 store. Nice design but slider was wobbly.

Same thing with G705, since they're basically from the same mold.

I never payed attention to the store models as they are just either cheap shells or a very bad version of the phone.

mine is new, and TOO WOBBLY!!!
I paid 263e+ shipping and am trying to sell it now.
I cannot get used to its movement, is going to get worse in days.
Keypad most uncomfortable, not balanced weigh either when open.
i DO hope the w995 is a GOOD slider...or I'll never get a SE again, after years of being loyal.

According to the manual you do have to remove the battery cover. Which is correct? From the manual:
Remove the battery cover and insert
the memory card with the gold coloured
contacts facing up.
