As some of you may know I bought a K850i and got BROD and restarts in first 20min of use (nothing strange about that though). Exactly 2 weeks ago I took it to Vodacare and they "fixed it". When I got it back it did the same and I took it back once again. They then sent it to Sony Ericsson to get replaced (same model).
I just called Sony Ericsson to hear what the progress is (2 weeks later). They told me that they replaced it but when they tested the replacement it gave the same problem (expected that too). I asked them what they are going to do now, like give me another model or what. They said that they are going to upgrade the K850i's firmware. I asked what firmware it currently had and they said R1FA035.
I told them I thought that was the newest but they said that there is newer firmware, but not on seus. So probably R1FA037 ! I was lucky the guy that awnsered did answer because it's not everyday that consultants will tell you things like this

As far as i know and i have read here somewhere in esato, this 037 firmware is limited to only branded phones like 3, vodafone etc. and it was out quite sometime. Then also i am waiting eagerly for this one.

If it's true, I hope they addressed it to all software problems of K850, especially the media navigating speed and frequent restarts.
Mine restarts even without me doing anything.

the 037 version from 3 branded restarts for me in the first 3 min...and the media menu is identical in speed,some app and games in plus but i`m now putting back the original adriatic 035

Yes according to my knowledge that is correct. But branded firmaware doesn't help us at all! So hopefully this is a generic version.
