I have been following some instructions from http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=156090 on how to flash my k770i. I think I have done this using xs++ but I don't know what to do next and don't understand other discussions about this as I am not very technical and need it simplified. I am getting the error message 'configuration error. please contact your operator' but know i'm stuck. I am wishing I hadn't started and want to know if it is possible to unflash the phone so that it goes back to the way it was? the k770i is locked to 3 and i wanted it unlocked and debranded and i thought flashing would help me do this but i am finding out flashing clears everything off the phone so i can put it back on but i havent got a clue how to get anything back on the phone please help!!

Maybe you missed this part of the tutorial:

Once flashing is done, you will be prompted to unplug the phone. Then you can turn on the phone. You will get this error:

"Configuration error, please contact network operator for information". This means that your phone is not finalized. Finalizing the phone is done by uploading a pack of files into predefined folder inside the phone's filesystem structure. That pack of files is called finalization files also knows as custom files, cestpacks and etc...

Use XS++ to upload these files (you downloaded before) into this folder:

tpa/preset/custom

Use the XS++'s FSX feature to upload these files.

Here is a tutorial how to upload files to phone filesystem using XS++
