ok, to sum up the problem:
deleting the preinstalled images, sounds, themes and templates is not possible as long as they reside in the ROM part of the memory of the t300. the only possibility is to flash the ROM with another software, and in this way the properties of each image, sound, theme and template are preset when the software/firmware is programed. this is the same as the BIOS of a PC. The only condition is the software/firmware allows it. So, all we can do is pray that the next firmware has the above option.
p.s. Unlocking the phone does not solve a thing. I did that.

Yea I also tryed the Unlocking to see if that would free up my pictures but I cant actually delete my pics at all orange UK have put some lock on them. SE must know ablout these problems. they have to realease a FW without them on it.
Are you saying if they did and I went to a SE service center that would get rid of the pictures?
I think we should start a signature gathering exercise to then send to SE to get them todo this.

there is a reason for it... so they could be put back to the same contents as when they arrive from factory....
when a
phone is brought in for service and can't be repaired it's replaced by a swap unit... these swap units should have the same contents status as a factory made phone.... but the swap unit can be a phone that has been out on the market, but was brought in for service, then a
advanced repair center repairs it and makes it a swap unit... so when you get a swap unit you should be able to have all pictures there even if a master reset is made on the phone....

See another post, I forgot where I put it, search for it, it's around Esato somewhere, anyway, here is how to delete ALL Predefined items on a T300 or T68i (may work with T68m)>>
1.Back up all data, copy phone numbers to the sim, and store any pics you want, either on the web, or on your PC, do the same with any sounds you want to keep, themes you have made etc etc.
2.Perform a "master reset"
3.exactly 12.5 secs into the "master reset" remove the battery from the phone, it must be exactly at this time (other posts have said 13 secs, and that works, but if you do it at 12.5 secs you get to keep all your WAP/E-Mail profiles, usually your phone book and it UNLOCKS! your phone, if you have a non-SE startup/shutdown graphic, it restors this to the SonyEricsson one too.)
4.Wait around 30/40 seconds, then put the battery back in and turn the phone on, it will stay in "restart" mode for around 20 sec's, while the phone "put's itself back together" and you will see the hour-glass on the screen for a little while.
5.The phone will seem very slow, so after its switched on, switch it off, and then back on again.
6.You will now have a UNLOCKED phone, which you can delete all pre-defined items, if they have not allready been deleted, but be warned, the only ring tones you will have are "High Tone, Low Tone, Mixed Tone" so restore all the things you backed up, contacts, phone numbers, pictures, sounds games etc.
If this goes wrong at all, just perform a "master reset" and the phone will be back to shop-factory condition. It will not damage your phone, as it is not removing/tampering with the phones software, only the MMC memory in the phone.
*Make SURE you back up all your phones contents!
