Hi,

I was modding my G705 las night to add walkman functions. Using W715 firmware /boot/phone_app.cxc, I enabled both GPS, shake control and SensMe and visualization. However, I cannot get the equalizer working properly.

I do not want to flash the whole phone to W715, as I do need chinese support, and I don't think W715 support this.

Is there anyone who can help me on this?

Also, I tried flashing my W705 the same way. It seems that there IS a GPS module in W705, however, I cannot pick up any signals. It seems that just disable the circuit instead of removing the module. I am sure someone has the ability to re-enable it?

Hum how diid you manage to boot the phone ?
'Cause when you overwrite the /boot/phone_app.cxc with the one from another phone, it just wont start.

Well, mine doesn't start if I change the phone_app.cxc

My mistake of not making it clear. The files I copied over were:

phone_acc.cxc
phone_app.cxc
phone_emp_app.cxc

You need to extract the W715 file system, in it there will be layout files for the walkman & equalizer copy them to your G705 , you will get the complete working walkman3 then with the walkman logo aswell.

It works fine for me. I am using the R1DA034 firmware on all of my devices, if that helps.

I can't get it to work !
That's weird
Did you just copy these files with A2uploader overwriting the existing ones?
Did you change something in an xml file in the FS ?
Or did you just flash the main without th FS ?

I'm looking to flash my G705 into a W715 while keeping Chinese support here too, could you give some more details on it? I found an extracted version of the W715 FS, but it doesn't include the boot files.
