From the above threads, I'm really disgusted with SE support for their P800 sync problem, auto response from them which is as good as ZERO response.

SE cannot just ignore this segment of users who are having problem syncing !!!

I hope SE is reading this thread is this sync problem is getting bigger and bigger and deserves an official answer from them.

I'm really fedup that I cant sync at all. The P800 was to be my PDA replacement but now it will be banished to the deepest darkest corner of my closet. If I cant sync Contacts and Calender, I cant use it, full stop.

Next, sometimes using the phone, it will emit a 'eeeee' sounds as if I'm too close to a speaker when it actual fact i'm out in the open fields.

No language pack in the CD nor from the Net !!! So much for the delay of this phone and yet it is NOT READY for mass market !!!

Let's hope my vendor will take it back !!!

Totally unhappy and upset with it. Guess this is the lesson to learn for being an Early Adopter !

Yes
A lot of people have problem by connecting their P800 using USB cradle under Windows XP (or 2000)
No real answer from SE yet :/

Wait and see
But it's a real problem for those who do not have IR/BT

I am happy to tell you guys that even with my WinXP I can sync mine using either USB cradle, infrared, or bluetooth. This message was posted from a P800

I don't see the point in running XP anyway...
When Microsoft releases a new product you should wait at least 2 years before starting to use it... that is just a fact.

My P800 syncs no problems. A real question should be what is different about the systems that do not sync to the ones that do. Somebody who has sync problems should post there system details maybe we can figure out what the problem is.

Happy syncing
