i did everything...
created xls file with file generator 1.07 (tried all C510 lang)
a2 uploader......copied file -then exit-
opened phone,
connect to seus.....
...update not available....
it's vodafone branded.....any thoughts?

Hi, the CDA list is incorrect in this programme. I checked all of them and I saw that CDA's tooks from CDA list of C905. Here is correct CDA list for our model:
1220-8750 Western Europe
1224-5236 Adriatic

the latest firmware on seus is r1da032, if u r just tryin to debrand,the option should come up to reinstall firmware

for 7 bucks.
firmware is R1DA035 CID52 adriatic.

i'm not sure what you mean, i did not had the firmware files.
r1da035 was flashed by wotanserver while debranding.

Don't use the wotanserver because They have an incorrect CDA script from C905-1209-4776 Adriatic. Use Davinci client and You'll see that correct CDA is 1224-5236 Adriatic. If You debranded your C510 through Wotanserver You'll take the wrong CDA and SEUS shows the message- Update not available, your software is up to date.

other from having a wrong cda... what else will i miss?
can i use a2uploader and modify the customize_upgrade.xml to 1224-5236
and re-upgrade? maybe it will work this time.

You wont be able to update with seus.. You have got r1da035 firmware which isn't even available on seus yet.. And even if i new firmware comes out,you can download it from all over the web and flash yourself with a2... Its easy
