When talking it is almost impossible for other people to hear me. I can hear them perfectly. Even with HF (cable or BT) the sound is weak. What to do? Time for repair?
How do i enter service-mode on the P800?

mine also has that problem. make sure you have the phone on your right ear since the mic is there and do not cover the mike with your hand

Well, there is NO WAY i will accept this from a brand new, terribly expensive phone (the MOST expensive one, right?). I will bring it back on Monday...

Had excactly the same mic problem...

That was the only complain I could put to my p800, when I had it. I have delivered it back.

try to put the loud speaker on then back off during a call and from the menu button with flip closed. this should solve ur problem. It fixed mine.

Are you kidding? OK. I'll try it.
However, it is NOT a mic. or analouge problem. My friend says it sounds like i'm holding the phone 1 meter from the mic. Same problem with HF and even bluetooth handsfree (where the signal is digitized in the headset). It must be some kind of software problem.

I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, UNTIL I FOUND OUT THAT MY HAND WHERE COVERING THE MIC WHEN I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE. BECAUSE THE MIC IS LOCATED AT THE BACKSIDE OF THE PHONE..TRY TO HOLD THE PHONE HIGHER UP WHEN U SPEAK....TRY!!!
