Have finally cracked it,have facebook running on unbranded firmware version r1da035.. Both the main and the homescreen are working.i extracted some files from a 3 branded firmware, uploaded to unbranded firmware with a2 and now works a treat..will write a tutorial at some point today and upload a zip containing all the relevant files.. Should work on all a2 phones using this method..

Tested on a C702. There's, unfortunately, no folder named bundles inside tpa

erm.. try placing the property files into tpa-preset-system-ams.. dont create the folder, just put the files into it.. see if that works

facebook app is working for me. it runs fine, BUT i dont have a FB account. the Facebook Home screen throws an Application error message.
i just created the folders: bundles, midp, jf26a046d00f5a45a5b8a1ab87998516f48fed10b and jfcb88e6a4a2d079a231afa53d00861eb947ef5e3 as they were not created.

will have to put both the files into tpa-preset-system-java-cert......

you should have it on yours..... instead if that, try the java-cert first.... think it may do the trick as the certificates will be needed to allow the programme to run
