> SE plays audio only of 3gp file
Bookmark topic
I have been downloading some .3gp files from the internet using my phone. And disappointed to find out that some of them only plays the audio and not the video.
I can however watch the same file on my PC.
I tried reconverting them to 3gp with a couple of converters thinking that it might work but still it only plays the audio.
I also tried sending via bluetooth some of this files to a nokia fon and it played it fine.
Im using SE W350.
Any help or comment will be much appreciated.

Only sound? Maybe the video size that you converting exeeds the limit of what your phone can. Example, you convert a video of 240 x 320 instead of 128 x 176. It also happened to me.

Try to reduce the bitrate for video, the smaller bitrate the better.
400bps or more may be too much.

yarixen, what converter are you using? I encountered the same problem some time ago (tried to convert a file to 3GP but only audio plays) - the converter i used was Super.
So i just used Handbrake instead and converted to mp4 instead, using good old ffmpeg codec to ensure wide compatibility. This solved the problem, since current SEs and Nokias can play back mp4 files.
Besides yielding consistent and predictable results, Handbrake also has a lot of encoding options and has very low RAM consumption.
