Ok people this might start a debate or arguments lol but here goes my story. My faith in SonyEricsson reliablity has been restored. After reading thread after thread on here of horror stories of peoples phones dying or falling apart my story is quite refreshing I have owned my c510 for just over a month now and in that time i have NOT experienced one single crash restart or bug. Only one occasion did the screen go into a funny strange mirror image but it happened once and has not happened since. What impressess me most now is they release the c510 at a bargain price with all the features of more expensive phones but keeping same quality with reliability to boot. How can this be? Has something suddenly changed at SonyEricsson are we now to see a new strategy with reliable handsets popping up in our stores? I hope so. How come they get it so right in such a cheap but quality handset? The c510 has been fantastic day in day out not letting me down once. I got rid of the Orange branding too. So lets have more stories on here of great experiences of SonyEricsson if there are anymore

He wrote 'all phones I've had', if you look carefully there's also a nokia n71. Anyway, I have never had any problem with any SE I've owned. But then, I try and avoid the ones with bad reviews. Gone through T610i, K700i and F500i. Currently have W890i, P1i and the lovely P910i.

Ah thats good keep the good experiences coming. This thread is to put SE in a good light as they get too much stick i guess. This c510 being reliable has been along with my old trusty reliable workhorse the K800i. Loved that phone it hardly ever let me down. Thats what we all need reliable phones that keep us going throughout the day without problems lol too much to ask?

My personal history with SE is not so long: T100 - T68 - K750i.
The last one still in use - already 3 years.
No crashes, the best, easy understandable menu......

A big respect to SE phones reliability.

But: 1. Memory Stick/M2 which is 2.5 times more expensive than micro SD
2. No 3. 5 mm audio jack
3. Only Wayfinder of Google maps with constant internet traffick for navigation
4. Small displays - now with C510/C901/W995 may be dawn is coming, but how much time lost.

Now I'm looking for a new phone and desperately searching for a SE device with decent camera.
But they are 50-75 euros more expensive than competition with similar parameters. Why?

Not sure why SE is more expensive but perhaps we shall see more c510 phones. At 100 quid its very well priced for what it offers. I too would like to see though more 3.5 jacks on top of the phone too not on the side plugged into where the charger goes. Also with a handy track changer remote in the headphone wire to change tracks whilst multi tasking.

Lol true, and yep it is too much to ask considering the crazy amount of tech our phones have these days. I mean back in the K700 days if someone came and told you that in 2009 you were gona buy a phone with a 3.2mp cam, auto rotating UI, that could achieve download speeds of 3.6mbps,
Record videos at QVGA @30FPS, multitask, and be able to hold upto 32GB worth of data in a mem card smaller than your sim card all at 100quid would you have believed them? 32gb mem card excluded by the way.
