> Bank scammed - Information needed

Hi, as you can tell by some of my threads nothing goes right for me and im looking for assistance on somebody who is taking money out of my bank every week.
I called my bank and they said they couldnt do anything to get my money back but they'll write to the company (couldnt tell me) to cancel future transactions. This will take 14 days and they can take money out during that time.
I am not 18 yet and they believe it is a subcription, If i am right i cannot enter any contract/subcription until i am 18, therefore voiding the contract. In my bank statement it comes under as "ONLINESEARCHESINFO
CD 5719"
Its not porn or anything like that but could anyone guide me on what to do? I've checked my emails and history around the dates its taken out with no luck

Is it for one of them prices?
Your bank can stop all transaction instantly, that's a load of tosh, it will however mean you'll need to go to a bank with bank card and passport to get any money, but it stops others getting your cash,
You can't legally sign a contract until you are 18, but if it's a subscription rather than a contract you could be a bit snookered, I'd also enquire about the not getting your money back, that seems awfully unfair as the company aren't going to give it back! but it's fraud and you as the end user shouldn't have to pay for it...

Why don't you contact the company yourself??? will be quicker than the bank doing it, as far as the company can see they are providing you with the service your paying for, it was you or someone with your all your bank card info that has signed up if you look at the payment methods it's by credit/debit card.

Really strange way of banking procedures in England...
Here, if have to authorize automatic bank transfers, and i can cancel them anytime (even online).
If i cancel it, then i will maybe be at fault with the company, but money won't be pulled out anymore.

Yea. Youve just got a direct debit set up against your account. Call the bank and they should be able to instantly remove it. Some banks like natwest let you remove it online if you have online banking.
